which means tt i'm not at the carnival/funfair held at the open field beside j8.. =/
i didnt want to go becos...
1. tired..(later u'll find out why..)
2. LOTS of ppl.. hard to queue for the rides (passed by there..) x_X
3. looks dangerous..(u noe..its not entirely fixed onto the grd.. i mean.. this kind of carnival is like.. when the event is over.. everything has to be removed. soo its not very safe?..)
hmm.. why i'm tired?
cos today theres ANOTHER shooting competition..
this time, its held at yishun safra, organised by NYT( National Youth Team)..

no medals this time! (to those of u who thnk we suck, we dont..)
lols.. maybe its becos the NYT organisers didnt have enough money.. jkjk.. i dont exactly noe the reason.. but i thnk this comp is like a trail, to confirm who will be shooting in the Nationals etcetc..
hmm...
"detail 3 clear your weapons!! detail 4, take positions!!!" boomed an official..
my detail was starting...
i walked over a big yellow suitcase and snatched a pellet box, collected my shooting cards, grabbed my smelly old suit and belongings before hurrying over to my lane, 25..
i started dry firing immediately after i wore my suit..
preparing, warming up for the competition shots..
"this is a air rifle mans shooting competition...blahblahblahblah... your preparation time ends now.. START!" again, the official almost burst our ear drums, killed the speakers..
i got my sighting card ready..
hmm.. the 20 shots of sighting shots werent so bad.. about 17 of them were in the 9pter..^^
too bad it dosent count.. - -"
i was pumped up, both with adrenaline and excitement.. i was ready to take this competition on, do my personal best..
first shot, a nine..^^
second shot, another 9..=P
(bleah, of cos i wlden go until the 60th shot, the last shot..- -")
hmm.. but after the 2 shots, i shot an 8.. then, another 8.. omg..
i kept regripping, reaiming, took a rest, then took in another huge breath again..
the aiming thing was at dead centre of the black circle, but all i lack was the confidence and trust, caused from the previous 2 shots..
in the end, i sqeezed the trigger and it hit the bulls eye..^^
"all i had to do was to trust myself" i kept thoughting to myself..
1 series = 10shots, 100pts..
so all together had 6 series, 600pts..
in the end, i scored lots of eights.. but even MORE bullseyes!! woot..
like.. every series got at least 5 bullseyes, 3 eights..
the results eventually came out after waiting for like an hr.. x_X
searching.. searching..
ooo... jeremy got 5th after shooting 566..
abel got 8 i thnk.. shooting 559.. he scored full marks for his first series.. zz..
100.. which means all 10shots in bulleyes..
OOO.. i found it.. tracing my name, to the school, to the scores with my finger..
woot! i was ranked 13 out of 39 ppl!! scoring a 554.. omg.. super good improvement.. from a 535..
i scored a 88, 94, 89, 92, 98!!! and 92.. omg..
a 98.. unbelivable.. (i always get an 88-90..) tt means i scored 8 bullseyes and 2 nines or 9 bulleseyes and 1 eight.. woot! an avg of 9.2..
if i had scored 535, i wld be ranked no. 22..
@_@.. anwS bryan was far below me, he had a score of 524..
junhui, sec 1 guy.. got 1 rank higher than him, with the same score of 524..
leonard(sec 3) was no.39, out of 39 ppl.. OUCH.. lols.. he scored 512..
yays..
we were abt to pack up and head home.. when suddenly..
"aye..err.. thing about it.. what do u do in your camp, treking all tt ar?" my overweight coach questioned me curiously after he had seen our scores..(obviously quite delighted..)
"err.. like flying fox all that.." i answered with my monotonous voice.. x_X
"huh? noo noo!! i dont want u to get injured, u cant get injured now.. i'll talk to the school about the it.."
shit... i shldent have said tt.. i shld have just nod my head like always..
but.. how wld flying fox injure u!? zz..
wtf.. now i'm hanging on by a string above a pool filled with sharks.. waiting for the "i can/cannot go for the camp" awnser.. x_X
i realli want to go for the camp.. confirm plus gurantee plus a chop..
i'll just have to pray tt the principle.. or whoever is incharge of the camp thingy allows me to go for the camp.
